As I was ready to give up on home schooling just this week (had one of those days), you quickly reminded me why we are doing what we do!! There are definitely good days and bad and we just can't forget the "why". As far as this post, it reminds me of my feelings when President Obama was elected. I was not particularly thrilled but chose to respect the office/authority. I just remember saying over and over, God has a plan, He is in charge, He knows what is best. We must continue to believe that and when we do, we see miracles along the way. God knew we needed an awakening in our country and boy have we seen it first hand! Praise His Name! Each vote we cast is important and does count! We have a friend running for Judge here in Van Zandt County. I was saddened to learn recently that out of about 52,000 residents in the county, only about 4,000 are expected to vote. Wow, that is only 8% of the population expected to vote. I just don't understand it. If we don't exercise our freedom we will be sure to lose it. The "men and women in Washington" will continue to think we are too ignorant to care and proceed with making choices FOR us instead of WITH us.
