[...] As women, we’re forever waiting on something. Life remains in transition. Of course there are practical ways to keep life on an even keel. But, when the engine’s running at full speed – the outward is a natural consequence of the inner heart. Do we NEED to be busy to be important? Are we striving to reach utopia in our home life? Are we trying to drown out our own still small voice? Are we working Superwoman’s plan and it’s devouring us? Or – are we simply going the way of the culture? [...]

Debi, thank you for posting these from the conference! I had written some of them down but missed several of these--each one is such a nugget of truth, and I love your comments after each. I always keep my notebook from the conference, to use during my quiet times, and especially during those days when somebody is throwing up or fighting or discouraged or especially naughty (everyday, in fact!). So thanks for adding to my notebook :)

Thanks...I came up from Austin for her first conference over a decade ago, and then off and on for a couple of years when we moved up here. I could use it again! Thanks for sharing, it refreshed my spirit. I have also loved her books through the years.

It was recorded and will be available soon on CD - I often get the messages this way so I hear them again. There was a session on prayer that rocked! Lots of tears and laughter. When 600 ladies get quiet - you know God is moving.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking such wonderful notes! So much encouragement. I truly missed going this year, but you enabling me to hear her message with your blog. I may see if I can get the recordings. Not the same as live, but better than nothing. Sign me up for next year!

Wow! What encouraging words! Debi, I love how in a few words you never fail to encourage and motivate me to do better! The things you took away from the conference are truly life-giving!!! I would love to join you next year and maybe take some young mothers along with me! Blessings! Kaye
