Encourage - Parenting Seminar
“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid … for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deut. 31:6
Ever wonder why we don’t have more church gatherings on the topic of parenting? Is it because no one wants to LEAD these meetings?! We’re all in the midst of parenting, at some level, and don’t want to put our families on the line. Who has all the answers anyway?
As we EACH do our part to IMPART COURAGE to other parents – I’m convinced we’ll find smoother paths ahead, stronger family units and greater individual resolve! But, to face our fears – take a hard look at our family and seek the Lord for direction, takes COURAGE. It’s easier to stay busy and distracted.
When our family was younger I looked for that perfect path to follow (you know, the safe one) and the flawless family to emulate…(still looking). I just wanted to do it RIGHT!! Because I love my kids so much…
But the flawless one is JESUS! He doesn’t require flawless leadership – only faithfulness. Hence – our decision to jump in and lead. Tim and I recently held the Encourage Parenting Seminar and saw couples take a BOLD look at their home, the future and the Lord’s blueprint for their families.
What an amazing experience!

We loved the seminar. So glad we were able to attend. So many parenting seminars are geared for families of young children. Our children are older (teens), but there was still so much for us, too. It was a real blessing. Thanks to you and Tim for your insights!
