Two years ago today, our oldest daughter was married. She married the man of her dreams and ours as well. We helped pull off her ideal wedding on the budget at hand, enjoyed a warm reception with as many friends as we could legally squeeze into the room and endured record breaking cold temperatures!
Hannah!
I write this today to honor them and to remind YOU – that the journey of raising and educating our children does come to a close. They do leave home, marry, have children and APPLY what you’ve taught them all the days they’ve been under your roof – in your arms – close by your side and heavy on your heart.
As Hannah’s embraced her new life as wife – and now mother – we’ve learned the limits of our role as her parents. Her first allegiance is to her husband and it’s our desire to support them {figuratively speaking} in their endeavors.
We see the Lord answer their prayers and gently guide their paths. Why should this surprise me? He IS the same – yesterday, today and forever! Our faithful God.
See her handsome husband and “the princess” in their family picture on “The Family“.
