I’m hosting my first giveaway. I hope to do this on a regular basis.
I LOVE giving things away – it’s good for the soul. Don’t you just smile once you drop off goodies at a charitable organization? Or give just the right gift to someone you love? We won’t mention Christmas …
I also LOVE to tell others about a shopping find like this one. Holy Grounds is a local Christian bookstore – privately owned and stocked with rare finds. I stumbled into this haven and found myself lost in a wonderland of beautiful decor; rich books; unique, handmade jewelry amidst the smell of gourmet coffee waffling through the air. See what I mean? Now I LOOK for opportunities to return.
Holy Grounds has donated a lovely mug and 1 pound of gourmet coffee (not the discount kind). Once the winner is chosen – I will announce who won, contact you personally and send your coffee in the mail!
Take advantage of this great deal in 3 ways!

I think my favorite post was Coming Up Short. I also love the ones where you feature your kids and talk about your love for them and their unique qualities.
I already subscribed! My favorite posts you’ve done would be “Raising Patriot’s”
Love you!
How fun – I love that shop! My favorite post was your last one – His Eye is on the Sparrow.
Picking a favorite post from your blog is like trying to choose a favorite color. I like blue but then green is amazing, too. What would life be like without yellow and red? Your posts are all unique and inspiring! Love them all, Linda

Okay! Now I Twitter you….whatever that means??
My favorite post is December 11……A Tribute to My Mother.
We have known each other for 5-6 years now? As you stated in the post, you are a very private person. After reading that article, I felt like I “knew you”, for the first time.
I felt as if I was there with you….opening your box of memories…..the smell of coffee, sounds of little boys laughter in the back ground, fire crackling….and a single tear dripping as you remember the sights & sounds of your mama. Melancholy for a moment…deep breath….close the lid……and off to be the best mama you can be!
You are blessed to have wonderful memories of your mother!
I am already a subscriber – love the down to earth, real life experiences you share.

I really like your “Dressing the Part” post in April. Great reminder!
I love all of your blogging and it always keeps me wanting more! I particularly loved “Coming up short!” . If I were to win I would make some coffee for a worn out young mother, have her prop her feet up and fill her with encouragement and blessings, praying she would leave with renewed courage!
Question: does the ‘worn out mother’ have to be ‘young’?? Just wondering
How fun Debi. Um, I read your blog…..(what else was I suppose to do???) LOL Oh yeah, favorite….hmmmmm….I’m not really sure I have a favorite. It seems that whatever I’m reading on your blog, well, it seems to speak to me in some way, so for now, I guess it’s just nice to be a part again, of what once was oh so long ago – - taking a moment to share our hearts. Thank you for sharing yours with those who are willing to listen.

Debi,
I needed a quiet evening so after everyone was in bed I decided to enjoy that quiet time by re-reading your blog entries. I took a few rabbit trails and just enjoyed the minutes of solitude. So many of your entries touched me for different reasons at the time of their posting but here are a few that were my favorites:
Unexpected places
Words of Life
Coming up Short
Ol’ Faithful
His Eye is on the Sparrow
My Anchor Holds
I am a subscriber already and love the blog!

It’s hard to narrow it down to just one blog post I like best! Here are a few of my favorites: Home vs. School, The Game of Life, Children and Chores…and I know there are SO many others! I love when you share the practical tips of your life and school and wisdom of your running home. So inspiring and motivational. Enjoy your blog so much.
