Tools for the Job

Maybe it’s because I’m a “girl”, but I think tools are for getting the job done – not for show. If I USED tools  (besides my dinky hammer)  they’d be tossed in a toolbox for easy access. I wouldn’t hang them symmetrically along the garage wall like a work of art. This goes for homeschoolng “tools” as well.

I came across this one and it’s so good, I want to pass it on. I wouldn’t waste your time if I didn’t consider it worth the effort. The toolbar is simple to download (even I could do it) and loaded with information that’s actually helpful to homeschooling moms. You’ll find everything from a blogroll (list of informative homeschool blogs) to devotionals, natural birth info, news links, Webster’s 1828 and the list goes on. Really, every area I can think of that I need to access for educating is on this “Gadget”. Plus, it’s FREE!

There’s no better time to homeschool than the present – it’s more “user friendly” than ever before. Some of us remember when we had to comb through resources designed by and for formal educators. This toolbar was designed by a homeschooling mother! The Tie That Binds Engenius idea! Therein lies the secret of it’s success.

Neat toolbar–I didn’t think it would work on a mac, but it does! Thanks, Debi, for the suggestion, and the blog!
