Thank you Darcy!

As I scoured the web for ideas in designing this blog, I kept stumbling onto beautiful blogs by the same designer ~ Darcy Milder ~ Graphically Designing. Thank you Darcy for helping me write on lovely “paper”! Check out her masterpieces online, also her personal blog – Life with My Three Boybarians. Darcy, I love your work and it was a pleasure to meet you in person at Relevant!!

Thank you Beth Dreyer Photography for taking my picture. When I rummaged around for a head-shot, I realized the most recent picture I had of myself alone was taken by the Department of Public Safety…before that, it was my bridal portrait. I’m a woman that’s usually behind the camera and I prefer it that way.

My eclectic approach to computer blogging…reminds me of learning to sew. There are some striking similarities, like you must go by the RULES and cooperate with the machine! In spite of technical blunders, my hope is to offer insight and courage to moms for the journey ahead. There’s no exact science to mothering and our kids aren’t experiments in perfection, the Pharisees already tried that. In our modern world, mothering is becoming a lost art, and there are countless women, like us, who are “heaven-bent” on reclaiming it.
